Monday 27th

Spoken Word for Refugees #Identity – the event will be exploring the theme of identity in increasingly divided societies in the format of Spoken Word – performance poetry and storytelling style.

Tuesday 28th

Our Voices – A bit far from London, Walk Tall is going to organise a event dealing with the stories of refugees in the UK.

Rohingya: A Silent Genocide – The Bangladesh Society at King’s College London is going to have a study event on the ‘most persecuted people on earth’ with experts on the field.

The Comedy Grotto – a TimeOut favourite comedy group is going to play to raise money for Syria Refugee Relief Fund.

Wednesday 1st March

(Mar 1st) National Refugee Women’s Conference – a second national conference on female refugees in the UK, discussed by a wide range of speakers – a Harry Potter actress, politicians and female refugees themselves.

Thursday 2nd March

EU Law and the Politics of ‘Mass Influx’ – critically deals with a rhetoric of ‘mass influx’ in regards to EU refugee policies.

Friday 3rd March

A Night of Extreme Vetting Comedy – Skint London is going to mock the Trump’s ban in the form of comedy, acted by comedians from seven countries.

Saturday 4th March

Screening of ‘Valgelo’ – an Italian film about a guy’s experience on visiting an asylum centre and gradually interacting with refugees there.

Sunday 5th March

Migrant Connections Festival – a day-event for community-and connection-building for migrants and people interested, including films, talks, and various interactive workshops for everyone.
